{"id":3317,"date":"2017-01-18T11:33:43","date_gmt":"2017-01-18T10:33:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.datinstruments.com\/en\/?p=3317"},"modified":"2018-02-27T09:31:02","modified_gmt":"2018-02-27T08:31:02","slug":"dat-instruments-camlidere-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.datinstruments.com\/en\/dat-instruments-camlidere-project\/","title":{"rendered":"DAT instruments for \u00c7aml\u0131dere Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Article published on the website &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.onsitenews.it\/dat-instruments-per-il-%C3%87aml&amp;-305-dere-project-1000063.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">www.onsitenews.it<\/a>&#8220;, January 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>JET SDP \/ IB<\/strong> datalogger is used for the preparatory land surveys before the realisation of an aqueduct in <strong>Turkey<\/strong> with the purpose of supplying the city of <strong>Ankara<\/strong> with <strong>drinkable water<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>DAT instruments dataloggers<\/strong> know no borders. Actually, it is the international request that gains more and more importance for the design of instruments which are able to assist and certify the drill activities.<br \/>\nAs in the case of the realisation of an aqueduct in Turkey: the purpose of the project is to supply with drinkable water the capital city, Ankara, through a 31.6km tunnel. The water of the Gerede stream, a branch of the Filyos river, will be directed to the <strong>Dam of \u00c7aml\u0131dere<\/strong>. The project includes the realisation of three compartments, an aspiration system of the water, a plant for the treatment of sediments and different canals including the main one which will bring water from the Gerede Creek to the \u00c7aml\u0131dere reservoir. The tunnel will have a diameter of 4.5 m and will grant the transmission of water with a flow of 40 m\u00b3\/sec. The lot where DAT instruments datalogger operates is assigned to Kolin \u0130n\u015faat company, the supervision of the project is entrusted to the governmental authority State Hydraulic Works.<br \/>\nThe <strong>JET SDP \/ IB datalogger<\/strong> was installed by the Italian Technical Team on a small drilling probe, which in turn was mounted on a <strong>TBM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company uses the device to carry out surveys in the soil where the excavation of the aqueduct will take place; in this way it will be easier to control potential geological anomalies. When the datalogger is used as surveying system \u2013 basing on drilling parameters such as rotation force, torque and speed, all registered in terms of depth \u2013 the company is able to determine the composition of the soil and to operate in full acknowledge of the situation, avoiding damages to the drilling machinery and verifying the correct execution of the work done according to the specific needs of the construction site. Thanks to the real time measurement of the drilling parameters, with the DAT instruments datalogger it is possible to deduce the geomechanical characteristics of the soil. The <strong>diagraphy obtained in terms of depth<\/strong> highlights the values of the different stratigraphic levels of the ground. The Italian company, based in the north of Italy, proposes two different solutions for this application: <strong>JET SDP \/ IB<\/strong> which was used for this project and the <strong>JET 4000 AME \/ J<\/strong>, which is more sophisticated and can be upgraded with the jet-grouting function.<br \/>\nWith the <strong>JET SDP \/ IB<\/strong> it is possible to visualize directly on the datalogger screen several instantaneous values in terms of depth, and to transfer data on a PC to archive, elaborate, export and print detailed reports. The obtained data are recorded on the internal memories and can be transferred to a computer with the <strong>JET S 104<\/strong> software installed (designed by DAT instruments too) using the <strong>JET C USB<\/strong> cable or a <strong>USB pendrive<\/strong>. The software is deployed to organize and elaborate data and to sketch on the screen all graphs and charts; it is also possible to print them. The Italian company also offers a solution to export datas to Microsoft Excel. Schematically, the <strong>JET SDP \/ IB<\/strong>, using the right sensors, lets you measure and record the following parameters, that you can select: drill depth (<strong>JET DEPTH<\/strong>); feed force (<strong>JET FORCE<\/strong>); translation rod speed (<strong>JET DEPTH<\/strong>); boring rod rotation torque (<strong>JET TORQ<\/strong>); boring rod rotation speed (<strong>JET ROT<\/strong>); drilling fluid pressure (<strong>JET PRESS<\/strong>); date and time of drilling and duration of the work, soil relative energy.<br \/>\nIn case of more complex needs, DAT instruments offer the JET 4000 AME \/ J version; beyond the functions already explained of the JET SDP \/ IB, it is possible to automatically start the probe at the beginning of the recording and to automatically block it when it reaches the pre set depth. There is also the option to automatically recognise the rod changing with automatic stop of the recording. Thanks to several sensors, with the <strong>JET 4000 AME \/ J<\/strong> it is possible to measure and record drill depth (<strong>JET DEPTH<\/strong>); feed force (<strong>JET FORCE<\/strong>); translation rod speed (<strong>JET DEPTH<\/strong>); boring rod rotation torque (<strong>JET TORQ<\/strong>); boring rod rotation speed, (<strong>JET ROT<\/strong>); inclination of the mast on X and Y axes (<strong>JET INCL XY<\/strong>); drilling fluid pressure (<strong>JET PRESS<\/strong>); flow and volume of the fluid (<strong>JET FLOW<\/strong>); date and time of drilling and duration of the work, soil relative energy; access for GPS receiver.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Article published on the website &#8220;www.onsitenews.it&#8220;, January 2017.
