The limiting device is an electronic safety system which avoids to mechanical booms damage caused by an irregular mechanical setting. This limiting device stops boom movements which go beyond the working area.

Limiting area devices produced by DAT instruments are made by:

• an angle sensor
  
• a sensor of boom straddle
  
• a microprocessor sophisticated electronic board
  

The setting is very simple and it is carried out via notebook or work station PC. In this way it is possible to set up all tables to guarantee that the board is perfectly operative in any situation. This is a very useful characteristic when you need to use more than one board on equal equipments.

If needed, it is possible to have high safety system, where you have a double number of sensors and where a bi-processor board is added.
